Waterval Boven - Four men were caught with two rhino horns in their possession in Mpumalanga, police reported.
Inspector John Baloyi said on Tuesday that police, acting on a tip-off, stopped the four men on the N4 near Waterval Boven on Monday night.
They were from Maputo and were on their way to Johannesburg, said Baloyi. They had two rhino horns in their possession and didn't have a permit.
The four were arrested and would appear in Waterval Boven magistrate's court on Wednesday on charges of illegal possession of rhino horn, he said.
The men were in custody.
