Animal Planet celebrates the second annual World Animal Day tomorrow
with a special program that includes three hours of fascinating
rhino adventures airing on UBC 44 from 4 to 7pm.
Viewers will enter the world of the rhinoceros with four premiere
programs that focus on their habitat, lifestyle and fight for survival.
"Charging Back" explores the mysterious killing of African
rhinos and efforts being made to help their populations recover.
"Great Indian Rhino" explores the amazing world of the
Great One- Horned Rhino in India.
"Animals A-Z: Rhino Rescue" follows Rodney Borland as
he travels on foot with the white rhino over 600 miles of Hluhluwe
and Umfolozi game reserves.
"Last of the Rhino" gives viewers an intimate glimpse
at rhinoceros's birth and formative years.
