Long gone: Woolly rhino, mammoth and giant elk
Bones from a woolly rhinoceros dating from 50,000 years ago have been found in a gravel pit near Swindon.
The partial remains of the animal's leg and toe bones were discovered in the Cotswold Water Park.
Geologist Neville Hollingworth uncovered the bones and confirmed they were from the Ice Age.
Earlier this year Dr Hollingworth, of the Natural Environment Research Council, discovered the skull of a woolly mammoth.
He said his new find was rare.
