The two white rhinos which were recently bought from Solio Ranch
in Kenya are expected in the country on November 4, reports Kennedy
Oryema.
The Rhino Fund Uganda project coordinator, Yvonne Verkaik, said
the animals were supposed to arrive this week but the date was postponed
to facilitate hand feeding.
"The animals have to get acquainted to hand feeding because
they will be transported by road," he said.
Workers of Sheraton Kampala Hotel have volunteered to clear the
place where the animals will be kept at the Uganda Wildlife Education
Centre in Entebbe.
