For over 20 years, SOS Rhino founders and collaborating organizations
together have supported various conservation projects across the
globe. Some of our expertise includes technical assistance, cage-restraint
systems, reproductive techniques on all species of rhino, as well
as consulting on care and management of rhino.
Our current projects include the support of over $US250,000 of
grants by rhino researchers the world over -- Europe, India, Africa,
Asia, North America. Read the Grants
2000 section of our site to learn more about investigations
into the anatomy, physiology, behavior, and reproduction of rhino
species. In addition, we support educational initiatives of conservation
studies and endeavors.
Research and collaboration is our strong suit... we have assembled
an unprecedented resource of published articles from many sources.
See our Research
Bibliographies section for more references and materials on
rhinos.
We continue to offer our support and collaboration with many partners
including U.S. Fish and Wildlife, WWF (World Wildlife Fund), governments
and institutions. See Collaboration
for more info.
Soon we will have an online grant submission section to allow researchers,
scientists and scholars to pursue new research and to maintain ongoing
research studies.
