The pygmy rhinos from Southeast Asia are shy, forest animals were
brought into captivity to protect them from poaching and to try
and facilitate breeding.
Methods Employed: Ultrasound
Comments:
Uterine pathology has been identified in all of the animals examined
in the study. Causes for these problems still need to be elucidated.
